Adam Tenney. Born in Akron, Ohino, in1981. Graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Sciences. Received a Masters Degree in early childhood education and special education from Mercy College in New York. Joined the Young Communist League USA in 1999. Became a member of Communist Party USA in 2004. Current position -- education coordinator for Young Communist League USA.
What's your view of the Soviet Union?
- There were some problems with the Soviet Union, but that's important is that it played a decisive role in the world supporting important struggles around the world. But there were problems, so it's a mixed bag. It's hard for me to answer because I was a kid when the Soviet Union existed.
What do you think of Mikhail Gorbachev?
- I have no opinion of Gorbachev.
What is your view of today's Russia?
- Today's Russia -- a lot of problems, in particular, the explosion of heroin use and AIDS epidemic.
